横山拓也 Takuya Yokoyama
1973年神奈川県生まれ。岐阜県多治見市にて作陶。黒土に何度も白化粧を施した印象的なうつわを作り注目を集める。それらは独特のかたちと存在感が際立つ。静けさと力強さの両方を内包した佇まいから土の線の美しさが訴えてくる。
Born in Kanagawa in 1973. Ceramist based in Tajimi-shi, Gifu. Known for his impressive pottery which is created by several layers of white slip coating over black terracotta. His works stand out in their unique form and presence that has an appearance of tranquility and strength showing the inner beauty of the line of clay.
