荒賀文成 Fuminari Araga

1972年京都生まれ、八幡市にて作陶。美しく無駄のない轆轤から生まれる器には古いやきものへの目が随所に見られ、端正ばかりではなく、ふとした狭間に遊びこころが同居する魅力あふれる器を作る。めし碗や皿、鉢はさり気なく食卓にのぼる日々の器である。
Born in Kyoto in 1972. Ceramist based in Yawata-shi, Kyoto. Influences of ceramic making from earlier times can be viewed in his beautiful and streamlined vessels thrown on the wheel. Creates captivating utsuwa that not only has a handsome finish but has a subtle playfulness at the same time.
