村上 躍 Yaku Murakami
1967年東京都生まれ。現在、長野県にて作陶。丹念に手びねりで作られるうつわの多くは用の美にかない、簡素な美しさにあふれる。なかでもポットは使い心地、かたちの美しさが際立ち、茶をいただく道具として最上のうつわと評される。丁寧な手から丹念に生まれる作品は一つとして同じ表情がない。
Born in Tokyo in 1967. Ceramist based in Nagano. After graduated from the Musashino Art University Junior College of Art and Design, Advanced Course, began producing works as a molding artist. His hand building pottery embodies the beauty of use. Among them, pots has a beautiful shape and are regarded as the best tea utensils.
