森岡由利子 Yuriko Morioka
1955年岩手県生まれ。和歌山県天野にて作陶。焼締、土器を経て白磁制作を始める。韓国の窯場を訪れ陶器作りの実際を学び、李朝のうつわに深い想いを馳せ作陶を続けている。母性を感じさせる美しくたおやかな白磁の壺は見つめる者を魅了してやまない。
Born in Iwate in 1955. Ceramist based in Amano, Wakayama. Visited the kiln sites of South Korea to learn pottery making. Creates white porcelain that are deeply influenced by the ceramics of the Joseon Dynasty of Korea. Her white porcelain jar pieces never ceases to charm and fascinate those who look at them with beauty and grace that expresses a feeling of motherhood.
