Born in 1975 in Nagano. Studied under Bizen ware potter Satoru Masamune after studying at the Bizen Pottery Center in Okayama. Did anagama kiln in Nagano, and currently makes pottery in Kagawa. His oribe, kohiki, and ash glaze works are fired in a wood-fired kiln and are expressive pottery.
