Born in Nagasaki in 1946. Ceramist based in Kamakura, Kanagawa. He joined the Tenjo Sajiki in 1967. Studied abroad at San Francisco Academy of Art in 1976. He won various awards as an illustrator. Started creating pottery in 1997. Engrave the story on the pottery with fine brush strokes.
